The Lost $100 Lesson: Embracing the Power of Creating Over Preserving

Lost $100 bill illustration

Most people will fight way harder to keep what they have instead of finding more.

If you had $1000 in cash, and you misplaced a $100 bill, how much time would you spend trying to find the missing hundred?

An hour?

Two hours?

A day?

Would it bother you to no end until you found it?

This is the crazy thing. People will fight way harder, and put so much time effort and energy into keeping or finding something they lost…

Rather than seeing that they can always just make more.

I’d rather focus on making another $1000 than finding the $100 that I lost.

The even cooler thing is, if I focus on making another $1000, then I also just learned how to make $1000, which is worth much more.

And I can likely do it in the same amount of time and effort spent.
